Luke Balcke – THE PEST WIZARD

Luke began life in the pest control industry in 1998 as the chief pest inspector for his parents building inspection business (QIBI). Since then he has carried out more than ten thousand termite inspections in homes on the Gold Coast. Luke has had two years experience working for London based pest control firm Microbee Pty Ltd as well as six years working in and running LPM. Luke has completed Certificate III in Asset Maintenance for Pest Control and is a qualified Termidor Applicator and Termx installer. He holds a current BSA license and NSW Work Cover license.

Eliza was born and raised in Melbourne and has now been living in QLD since 2004. She has vast experience in the customer service industry through her previous work with Virgin Blue and as a dental nurse for 8 years. Eliza joined the family business in October 2007 and is now the office manager of LPM and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the business from accounts and bookings through to marketing. Eliza is the Jill of all trades!

Garry has over 40 years experience in the building industry. He has performed over 10,000 pre purchase building inspections on the Gold Coast as director of QIBI, making this his specialty. He is also a licensed carpenter and builder with vast knowledge and experience of other areas which include plumbing, roofing, tiling and everything to do with home renovations and maintenance. He holds a current BSA building license and is a member of the Master Builders Association.

Helen has over 20 years experience in the building industry and has assisted in over 10,000 pre purchase inspections. For the past 14 years she has worked beside her husband, Garry, as his personal assistant. Helen takes all the written notes on site and compiles them into a building report which the client receives. She is a valuable member of LPM. Her interests include travel, property investment and music. Her 5 children and 6 grandchildren keep her very busy outside of work.
